From Jan. 12 – 14, 2025, over 40,000 retail professionals will descend on the Javits Convention Center in New York City for the retail industry’s biggest show of the year — NRF ‘25.

Every year, retail professionals gather to learn from their peers, see and hear about the latest strategies and technological innovations in the retail space. The event brings together stakeholders from every link in the supply chain to network, connect and share experiences. Last year saw 5,000 supply chain brands from over 100 countries represented at the event, and this year is set to be even bigger, with a speaker list comprised of leaders from the retail industry’s heaviest hitters, including Starbucks, Walmart, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

Top of the agenda: how AI is changing the retail game

This year’s theme is “Game Changer,” and it couldn’t be more appropriate. Retail is always evolving and AI is leading the charge. A host of AI-driven technological innovations are fundamentally changing the way retail does business, from AI agents for retail process capabilities to facilitating customer experiences. From unleashing data and AI to deliver hyper-personalized shopping experiences, to AI-driven image recognition systems for planogram compliance and inventory management, to AI agent powered warehouse automation, no aspect of the supply chain and customer journey remains untouched by AI’s transformative potential.

Unprecedented innovation for unprecedented times

These unprecedented leaps in technological advancement have arrived just in time. The retail industry has never faced more uncertainty. Consumer preferences and buying behaviors are more unpredictable by the day. The rise of omni-channel underscored by fierce competition and extreme margin pressure has retailers scrambling to adapt as the market landscape shifts beneath their feet. Gen Alpha is poised to become the most powerful shoppers ever, and to meet their expectations, retailers must level up or lose out. Social platforms and generative AI are taking over search engines, further complicating successful e-commerce execution. Aging tech stacks and data silos are costing retailers billions of dollars in inefficiencies and missed revenue opportunities. The result is an industry in rapid flux, with new challenges and opportunities emerging by the hour.

To this end, don’t miss the NRF Big Ideas stage session on the topic, “The supply chain revolution: Can your organization succeed in the age of AI?” You’ll hear from Rob Bogan, Chief Technology Officer at DXL Group; Nik Haggerty, Director of Transformation at Chalhoub Group; and Andrea Morgan-Vandome, Chief Innovation Officer at Blue Yonder on January 14.

Celebrating six years at retail’s biggest show

2025 will mark Blue Yonder’s sixth year exhibiting at retail’s biggest show, as well as many years as JDA. This year, we’re excited to share Blue Yonder’s end-to-end supply chain management solutions that enable retailers to evolve to a smarter, faster, connected structure. In short, the retail supply chain reinvented.

Across the supply chain, disconnected point solutions and data silos are making it impossible for organizations to align to a single objective. Complexity is increasing, leading to disruptions that inflict higher costs, lower levels of service and, ultimately, disappointed customers. With a particular focus on how retailers can leverage AI and unified, real-time data to enhance decision-making, eliminate latency, and align actions across functions and partners for seamless collaboration, Blue Yonder is your supply chain partner.
