On Sunday, May 6, we welcomed almost 2,000 people to the Orlando World Center Marriott for JDA FOCUS 2018, the must-attend event for innovators who are shaping the future of the world’s supply chains.

Three days of technology demos, presentations, networking and insights kicked off with meetings of chairs and managers of JDA’s Special Interest Groups – the teams of JDA software users who come together to share best practices, discuss their technology needs and network with others in their industries and in similar roles.

Meanwhile, JDA customer showcase booths in the Innovation Zone included a BMX trick riding and ramp jumping exhibition presented by Red Bull, and a climbing wall challenge at the L.L.Bean showcase. FOCUS guests also had a chance to try their mini-golf skills at the Heineken putting green, and picture themselves taking the spin on a brand-new Polaris.

As the first day’s partner and customer meetings wound down, attendees had the chance to network and, also, to take part in the Endurance Challenge – a competition for a cause, with conference guests completing a series of fun tasks to raise funds for Samaritan’s Feet, a charity that provides shoes for children in need. Those who completed the challenge were also entered for a chance to win prizes.
